Board of Directors

The Board of Directors serves as the governing body of the Texas Sigma Alumni Association, holding ultimate authority over strategy, policy, and organizational oversight. The Board sets the direction of the organization, approves key decisions, and ensures the long-term success and integrity of the Association.

All Board members serve one-year terms and may be re-elected without term limits.


Peter Miller — President, Board of Directors

The President is the chief governing officer of the Association. He leads the Board, presides over meetings, sets strategic direction, and serves as the primary external representative. The President ensures execution of Board decisions and alignment with the Association’s mission.

Term Length: 1 year


Landon Ledhe — Vice President

The Vice President supports the President and assumes all presidential responsibilities in his absence. He leads special initiatives, contributes to strategic decisions, and plays a key role in Board leadership and continuity.

Term Length: 1 year


Andrew Bundy — Treasurer

The Treasurer oversees all financial operations of the Association, including budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance with financial policies. He ensures responsible stewardship of funds and provides regular financial updates to the Board.

Term Length: 1 year


Brett Barry — Member at Large

The Member at Large represents the broader alumni membership on the Board. He participates in all Board decisions, brings member perspectives into discussions, and supports strategic initiatives that benefit the alumni base.

Term Length: 1 year


Gabe Encarnacion — Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

The CEO serves as the operational leader of the Association and sits on the Board as a voting member. He is responsible for executing the Board’s vision, managing day-to-day operations through the Alumni Association Council, and ensuring alignment between strategy and execution. The CEO also casts the deciding vote in the event of a tie.

Term Length: 1 year


The Board of Directors works in partnership with the Alumni Association Council to execute the mission and long-term vision of Texas Sigma.

Alumni Association Council

The Alumni Association Council serves as the operational arm of the Texas Sigma Alumni Association. While the Board of Directors establishes strategy and governance, the Council is responsible for executing day-to-day operations, programs, and initiatives that drive alumni engagement and organizational growth.

The Council operates under the direction and oversight of the Board of Directors and works to implement the Association’s mission through disciplined execution and leadership.

All Council officers serve one-year terms and may be reappointed without term limits.


Gabe Encarnacion — Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

The CEO is the senior executive and operational leader of the Association. He oversees all Council officers, manages execution of programs and initiatives, and ensures alignment with the Board’s strategic direction. The CEO serves as the primary link between the Council and the Board and provides regular updates on performance, challenges, and opportunities.

Term Length: 1 year


Brandon Cano — Director of Events

The Director of Events is responsible for planning and executing all Association events, including Homecoming, alumni gatherings, networking events, and fundraising initiatives. This role manages logistics, coordination, promotion, and post-event follow-up to ensure high-quality experiences that strengthen alumni engagement.

Term Length: 1 year


Ty Garza — Director of Alumni Records and Activities

This role manages the Association’s alumni database and drives engagement across the alumni network. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, leading communications, supporting mentorship and networking initiatives, and ensuring alumni remain connected to the Association.

Term Length: 1 year


The Alumni Association Council is responsible for turning strategy into action—executing the programs, events, and initiatives that sustain and grow the Texas Sigma Alumni Association.
